Kuortane Indoor Arena
The Kuortane OTC offers outstanding facilities and world class know-how for athletics. In a number of track and field events our coaching expertise is the best in the world. A vast number of Olympic medallists have visited our facilities on their way to major championships and we are an accredited training center of the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF).
The Kuortane arena is a multi-sport arena with olympic level indoor training facilities for track and field, gym and weightlifting complex, air-gun track and wall climbing area. The taraflex court in the middle of the arena is fit for different ball games. The middle section can be divided in to three separate courts. With special arrangements the Kuortane arena can be also altered in to the biggest lecture hall in the area, into a dance arena or a concert hall.

Volleyball arena
We offer world-class conditions for Volleyball.
The Kuortane OTC is the official training center of the Finnish Volleyball Association and all Finland’s national teams hold their camps in preparation for international matches and tournaments at Kuortane. Both boys’ and girls’ national squads also stay in residence, study and train all year round in Kuortane. The Volleyball Arena, is developed to meet all the needs of world-class volleyball. The Kuortane Arena also has one Taraflex-surface court reserved specifically for volleyball training. There are also spacious conditions for physical training in the Kuortane Arena, which allow for the whole team to train together at the same time.

Ilkka Arena (Ball Sports arena)
A brand new indoor hall for football, American football and Finnish baseball was opened on April 2019. This high quality facility was built to face the needs of an international level professional team. The facility is solid structured, heated and has a UEFA standard artificial turf produced by Unisport. The facility has a full size football field and an additional practice area that together makes the grass area size an impressive 9828m².
The pitch can be divided in to two and reserved separately. Warm-up area inside the hall is free of charge before and after each reservation. Pitch measures are: Full: 102m x 68m Half: 68m x 45m Temperature +12-14 during winter season |

Gymnastics Arena
Kuortane is the official training center of the Finnish Gymnastics Federation. The brand new gymnastics training arena was opened in the beginning of 2020. The new arena is the largest training facility for gymnastics in the Nordic countries. The arena is equipped with high-class training equipment (Benfer, Gymnova, Eurotramp, Janssen Fritsen, Spieth and Taishan).

Swimming and recovery
Our swimming hall is open Mon-Fri at 17-21 and on Sat at 13-18. Morning swimming on Thursday mornings at 7.30-9.

Wrestling hall
Wrestling has always been a strong sport in South Ostrobothnia. Kuortane is the national training center of the Finnish Wrestling Federation and Affiliated Training Center of the United World Wrestling.
We have built own training conditions for the needs of world class wrestling. Wrestling has its own training hall with three mats, supples training equipments and special weightlifting area for strength training. |

Bowling hall
Our high-class 6-lane bowling alley is located in the basement of the Sport hotel. The bowling alley is open daily. In co-operation with the Finnish Bowling Federation and European Ten-pin bowling federation.

Ice training hall
Our Ice training hall offers great facilities for ice hockey, figure skating and synchronised skating all year round. The indoor ice rink is situated in the immediate vicinity of the main sports hall which enables the seamless combination of ice training and related training such as strength work, running and jumping.

Good and alight ski runs, Aholankangas forest paths, frisbeegolf track, canoeing and kayaking, church boat rowing, swimming, tennis, sup boarding.... At Kuortane you have variety of activities to choose all year around!

In the forest of Aholankangas trails a web of tracks from where you can choose a path fit to you.
A 1,5km track fit for families and beginners starts in the immediate vicinity of the training center. The tracks continue in the shooting range terrain on the other side of road 66 with 3, 6, 10 and 15 km tracks. A skate skiing track and a traditional track are available in the winter. |

OUTDOOR GYM
"Gym park" - an outdoor gym with 12 different devices is located in the vicinity of Kuortane hall, Ice training hall and Sport&fun. Train in fresh out door air all year around!
