TRAVEL
Our nearest airport is Vaasa (110km). There will be an organized transportation from Vaasa airport to Kuortane and back. Option for flying to Vaasa is to fly to Helsinki and take a train to Seinäjoki from the airport. to Seinäjoki. We will organize transportation from Seinäjoki to Kuortane and back.
Transportation schedule: ARRIVAL
DEPARTURE
Organized transportation from Seinäjoki costs 20 €/one way and from Vaasa 30 € /one way. The schedule is changeable +- 15-30minutes. You can also book an individual transportation with extra fee: one way taxi prices for individual bookings: Seinäjoki train station 75€, Vaasa airport 195 €) |
TRAVELLING TO FINLAND - COVID -19 GUIDELINES IN A NUTSHELL
Please be aware that just because you are allowed to Finland, that does not mean you are automatically exempted from the obligation to be tested for COVID-19, for example.
- You can enter Finland from all countries if you have received a full course of an approved COVID-19 vaccine while taking into account the provisions on the entry of foreign nationals into Finland, e.g. visa requirements. You will not be subject to any other obligations under the Communicable Diseases Act.
- You can travel from EU and Schengen countries to Finland, but you must first check your obligations under the Communicable Diseases Act , for example with regard to COVID-19 testing.
- If you have not received a full course of an approved COVID-19 vaccine and are arriving from outside the EU or Schengen area, check the restrictions on travel to Finland from the country in question on the Border Guard website. If travel is possible, i.e. you are coming from a country on the EU’s green listLink to an external website from which entry into Finland is allowed, or you have an essential reason to travel, check your obligations under the Communicable Diseases Act (see figure below). In addition, some of the countries on the EU green list are exempted from these obligations
